The Controller of Examinations, University of Karachi, Professor Dr Arshad Azmi, on Thursday announced the result of BA Part-II and both parts (Regular), Annual Examination 2018. Hafiza Haniya Waqas daughter of Waqas Bin Yousuf, bearing seat number 567225, and student of Iqra Huffaz Degree College bagged 846 marks out of total 1000 marks and clinched the overall first position.

Meanwhile, students of the same college received second and third positions respectively. Hafiza Asna Siddiqui D/o Ghulam Hussain, having seat number 567230, collected 829 marks while Hafiza Lubaba D/o Mustaqeem, 567229, received 828 marks. As per gazette issued, 7, 081 candidates were registered of which 6, 891 students appeared in the annual exams whereas 787 candidates cleared their papers with first division, 2, 150 students passed their exams with second division and five candidates were declared pass in third division.
