The National T20 Cup 2019 has got a lot more rewarding after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 100 percent increase in winning prize money.

The winner of the National T20 Cup 2019 would grab Rs5 million, meanwhile, the runner-up will get Rs2.5million and the top performers of the tournament - player of the tournament, best batsman of the tournament, best bowler of the tournament and best wicket-keeper of the tournament - will get Rs100,000 each.

Furthermore, the man-of-the-match award for every match is Rs25,000, while the man-of-the-final will pocket Rs35,000. The tournament is scheduled to commence from October 13 to 24, and will take place at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

The match-fee for the National T20 Cup has also been increased from the past season. The players in the playing XI of either of the six First XI cricket association sides will earn Rs40,000 per match, as compared to Rs30,000.

There’s an increase of 113pc in the match fee for the non-playing XI players as they will be getting Rs16,000 this tournament.

Some six cricket association sides will take place in a single-league format, with the top four sides featuring in the October 23 semi-finals, whereas, the final will be played on October 24.
