Nawaz Sharif announces support for “Azadi March”
- PML-N leader says Shahbaz Sharif has been informed in writing to attend the march.

(Karachi) Nawaz Sharif has announced his full support for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s “Azadi March” while talking briefly to media at the Accountability Court in Lahore on Friday, BBC Urdu News reported.
While criticizing the government, the PML-N leader said, “You may use more tactics but we did not bend before and we will not bend today.” Nawaz Sharif made it clear that Shahbaz Sharif has been informed in writing to attend the march.
It may be recalled that the PML-N leader attended Accountability Court hearing in money laundering case on Friday where he was handed over to NAB on 14-day physical remand. Earlier, NAB arrested Nawaz Sharif from Kot Lakhpat jail.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced to march towards Islamabad to oust the government on October 27.
There had been speculations whether the PML-N will join JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman's "Azadi March" or not. However, despite reservations of Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders, Nawaz Sharif decided to support the movement.
