Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday warned the government to avoid use of force to create hurdles in way of Azadi March on 27 October However, the JUI-F chief assured that the march will be peaceful. The JUI-f party workers and seminary students have always respected the Constitution, he said while addressing the 'Salar Force' of the party. The Salar Force is comprised of volunteers.

The volunteers, on the occasion, presented a guard of honour to their chief and took oath of safeguarding the leadership even at the cost of their lives. Fazl said JUI-F was not fighting with institutions but its war is against the government. He added that people from across the country would be coming to Islamabad.

"We are peaceful Pakistani; we will not attack the parliament or the PTV. Unlike you, we will not hang trousers on the walls of institutions, he remarked. He said if the government tried to deprive people of their fundamental and human rights then JUI-F would show angry reaction. He said that JUI-F hopes security forces would not interfere in Azadi March.

"We will be able to sustain your baton charges but you will not even be able to withstand a mere puff of air we blow on you," he warned. "We will go forward as we have no option to turn back," he vowed.

Fazl said the 27 October will not solely be 'Azadi March' but it would be marked Solidarity day with Kashmir brethren and he added that million March couldd enter Islamabad on 31 March The JUI-F chief said the JUI-F has held 15 successful million marches in the country. "The JUI-F protest would be different than Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's protest," he said. Fazlur Rehman said Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech was scripted at United Nations General Assembly and has no result yet. He alleged that PM Khan has sold Kashmir and has struck a deal on Kashmir. He said the economy of the country is sinking, factories are being shut and traders are in distress, while the PM in an effort to support the economy has now moved on from poultry and livestock to langars.

The JUI-F chief criticized PTI government that the "fake government made fake promises" with masses, adding the government has promised with public in 2018 general elections that the PTI would provide jobs to the youths but unfortunately 20 lakh youths are unemployed.

Meanwhile, KP Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai warned Jamiat JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman against challenging the writ of the state saying any illegal act would prompt legal action.

Speaking at a press conference here, he said the people rejected Maulana Fazl in last year's general elections, adding he is hell-bent on launching a baseless campaign against the government.

The minister questioned if toppling of the government would lead to the JUI-F chief becoming the country's chief executive. "Will Maulana's march end unemployment and inflation," he further asked. He said if the government backs down from its position on accountability, everything would be fine.

Yousafzai said the system can't operate as per wishes of some people. Opposition parties have right to protest, but they won't be allowed to play havoc with law and order, he added.

Those who were found to be violating law would be taken to task, he warned, adding a case would be registered against them after consultation with legal experts in this regard.

The minister said they won't allow anyone to use madrassah students for political gains, appealing religious scholars to desist from using these children for such purposes.

Corrupt elements want to mount pressure on the government to get scot-free, he added. Yousafzai asked Fazl to stay away from challenging the writ of the state.
