Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that Pakistan cannot afford losing the case of Kashmir at any cost because of the region's ideological, economic and geographical importance for the country.

"God forbid! Pakistan cannot remain intact if we lose Kashmir to India," warned the Jamaat-e-Islami emir while addressing a huge gathering of party's women wing here on Wednesday.

The "Save Kashmir" march was attended by a large number of women and children to express solidarity with the besieged people of the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK). The participants were also addressed by Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Ameerul Azim, Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Aslam, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Chapter Dr Khalid Mahmood and others.

Siraj said the RSS goons-led Modi government is working on Akhand India's idea and abrogating the special status of Kashmir is the part of it. He warned the rulers against the New Delhi's expansionist ideas, saying first Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and then Islamabad are the targets of RSS-BJP regime.

The JI emir said that not only Pakistan but the other countries of the region are also feeling threat to their sovereignty from Indian designs. He maintained that the Indian government by deploying over one million forces has besieged the valley since August 4, 2019, but astonishingly the global community which makes huge hue and cry over the violation of animals' rights hasn't uttered a single word in condemnation of anti-humanity acts of the Indian government.

He added only Pakistan has the capacity to challenge the Indian designs and it is high time that preemptive strike be made to thwart the plans of the enemy.

Siraj expressed regret over the silence of rulers and international community regarding the plight of the people of IHK. He said that over eight millions people turned into prisoners in the biggest prison of IHK, where they are starving to death, facing severe shortage of medicines and food.

He said that the rulers had pinned all their hopes on America for the solution of Kashmir issue. He said that former military ruler Parvez Musharraf had caused the greatest loss to the Kashmir cause by allowing India to build a wall on the Line of Control (LoC). He hoped that the present rulers would not be remembered among those who also betrayed the Kashmiris.

He demanded the government to take decisive steps for Kashmir cause as time is already running short with the people of Pakistan and AJK running out of patience. He said that the people want action and not speeches in support of Kashmiris.

Siraj demanded the government to take step to fix the economy and announce reduction in prices of daily use items. He said that the government has failed to fulfill all its promises it made with the people during the election campaigns.

He expressed resolve that Jamaat-e-Islami would keep standing shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brethren in their quest for freedom from Indian yoke. He said the Jamaat-e-Islami is fighting the case of Kashmir not for any political point-scoring but it is taking it as a case of Islam and Pakistan.
