To highlight the sacrifices of innocent Kashmiris and the brutalities being committed by Indian forces, the Alhamra Arts Council kicked off a three-day art exhibition titled "Lockdown at Kashmir" here on Wednesday which attracted a large number of students and people from different walks of life.
Provincial Minister for Law and Social Welfare Raja Muhammad Basharat along with Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Athar Ali Khan inaugurated the exhibition. Around 80 artworks from 60 artists from all over the country were being displayed in the exhibition.
Speaking to the media, the minister said the entire nation is with the innocent Kashmiris and "we will not hesitate to do any kind of sacrifice for them".
"We are raising the voice for Kashmiris on every platform. A day will come when the Kashmiris will breathe in the open air," he expressed and appreciated the efforts of the Lahore Arts Council for raising and supporting the Kashmiri cause.
