On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,131. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.676 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 6,835.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.548 billion followed by Currencies through COTS PKR 1.078 billion, WTI Crude Oil PKR 627.922 million, NSDQ100 PKR 288.190 million, Silver PKR 283.954 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 245.183 million, DJ PKR 235.252 million, Platinum PKR 153.317 million, Palladium PKR 79.216 million, SP500 PKR 69.015 million, Natural Gas PKR 55.348 million, Copper PKR 8.998 million and Japan Equity PKR 3.471 million.
In agriculture commodities 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.935 million were traded.
