Pakistan has decided to take the diplomatic corps including Indian Charge d'Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia to Line of Control (LoC) today (Tuesday) to expose Indian falsehood of allegedly targeting the so-called "terrorists' launch pads" on October 19 and 20, 2019. A senior government official said that the heads of Islamabad-based foreign missions have been invited to join the visit to Jura, Shahkot and Nausehri Sectors on Tuesday (today) where the civilian population was targeted by heavy unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along on 19th and 20th October, 2019.

Due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by Indian occupation forces, including use of heavy artillery, five innocent civilians and two non-resident civilians were martyred, while six others, including women and children, sustained serious injuries. Indian media, while quoting the country's army chief General Bipin Rawat, claimed that "six to 10 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in our firing. A similar number of 'terrorists' have been killed in three out of four launch pads we destroyed. The casualty number could be much higher".

However, the senior government official said that the government of Pakistan has also invited the Indian Charge d'Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia along with other heads of foreign missions for the visit. "The Indian Charge d'Affaires has also been requested to obtain the information including the locations of the so-called 'terror launch pads' from the Indian army chief who claimed to have targeted by the Indian troops", the official said, adding: "We challenge the Indian side to provide the details of the so-called 'terror launch pads' and we are ready to take the Indian diplomat to himself countercheck the Indian claims".

Besides, the sources said that the government has also invited the United Nations independent observers to join the visit to the LoC. "The Indian government is disseminating a false propaganda with regard to the alleged terror camps...the Indian troops are deliberately targeting the civilian population to divert attention from the situations in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir", the official said.

He said that the Indian Charge d'Affaires, who was summoned on Sunday to the Foreign Office to lodge a strong protest over loss of human lives in the unprovoked ceasefire violations, was also urged to share details of the alleged 'terrorists' launch pads'. "But the Indian side is yet to come up with a response", the official further added.

Responding to a question, he said that Pakistan does not want war with India over Kashmir. "However, if war is imposed against us, we will respond with full force. Pakistan is fully capable of defending itself as manifested on 27th February 2019", he said while referring to the dogfight between the two air forces in which two Indian aircraft were shot down. About the opening of Kartarpur Corridor, the official said that the final agreement about Kartarpur corridor is expected to be signed on October 23 or 24, 2019.
