On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,150. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.246 billion and the numbers of lots traded 6,681.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.970 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 727.246 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 685.424 million, Silver PKR 259.761 million, Platinum PKR 186.308 million, Palladium PKR 162.057 million, Natural Gas PKR 132.899 million, NSDQ100 PKR 6.257 million, DJ PKR 29.228 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 22.741 million, SP500 PKR 17.770 million and Copper PKR 15.690 million.
In agriculture commodities one lot of Wheat amounting at PKR 4.108 million and 4 lots of Cotton amounting at PKR 2.022 million were traded.
