  • The PCB has revoked conditional NOCs of its players to feature in the T10 tournament.
  • The decision has been made in the best interest of the players, states PCB.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has barred national cricketers from participating in the upcoming T10 League and has revoked the conditional No Objection Certificate issued to the players to feature in the T10 tournament.

As per reports, the cricket board took the decision considering the players workload and their participation at the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, considered Pakistan domestic cricket’s premier cricket tournament.

“The decision has been made in the best interest of the players as well as to continue to enhance the credibility and reputation of the new domestic structure, which has been widely covered and reported across all media outlets,” stated the PCB.

Meanwhile, in order to assess the fitness and medical conditions of the players a camp will run from November 13 to 25 at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore.

Whereas, the seventh and tenth rounds of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will continue between November 11 and December 5, while, the final match of the event will be played in Karachi from December 9 to 13.

It is pertinent to inform that former Pakistani cricketers Shahid Afridi and Imran Nazir will be participating at the event, scheduled to be held in the UAE from November 15-24.
