How to fill your Kamyab Jawan bank loan application form - The complete guide

- The completed and submitted applications shall be processed within 30 working days.
The Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program has become the talking point among the masses, that seeks to apply for loans and restart their businesses.
However, some of the major issues that are arising here are that the applicant has to enter their exact CNIC and its Issue Date, otherwise their application will not be submitted due to verification. Secondly, provide required information in all sections and not leave any section empty.

What Do You Need To Provide?
- Insert the applicant's Name
- Bank Name (Pick among the three banks i.e. National Bank of Pakistan, Bank of Punjab and Bank of Khyber, through which you want to get loans) Kamyab Jawan loans are provided not directly by the govt but through banks, so choose the bank which is most convenient for you based on your location. The participating banks are: Bank of Punjab, Bank of Khyber and NBP.
- Provide your CNIC (Correct CNIC number should be inserted correctly, otherwise the application will not be submitted due to verification, secondly the CNIC number should be inserted without ‘-’)
- Insert your CNIC Issue Date - you will find this date on your CNIC.
- Gender - the form has three options here i.e. Male, Female and Transgender
- Provide your Date of Birth (A calendar would appear to guide your to your date of birth)
- Provide your Father's name or Husband's Name (In case for married women)
- Provide your Father's CNIC or / Husband's CNIC (In case for married women)
- Provide your Present Address
- One has to inform whether the Residence is Owned by oneself, is a Family property or Rented. It is important to answer these questions honestly because it will affect your chances of getting a loan.
- Insert your Present Province ( You have Punjab, Sindh, KPK [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa], Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK [Azad Jammu and Kashmir] and Federal [for Islamabad])
- Insert your Present District (The districts would appear when you insert the province)
- Insert your Present Tehsil (The Tehsil would appear when you insert the district)
- Provide your Residence Phone Number, with Area Code
- Provide your Mobile Number.
- When have to answer if the SIM registered with your own name? in Yes or No - It will help if you use a number that has SIM registered in your own name.
- Provide your E-Mail Address (if any)
- You have to provide the Number of Dependents (dependents are who relies on another, especially a family member, for financial support). This means your children, or if you dont have children, any other family members in your household who do not earn and are dependent on your earning for survival.
- Provide Permanent address, if it is different from the already mentioned above
- Provide your Permanent Province (You have Punjab, Sindh, KPK [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa], Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK [Azad Jammu and Kashmir] and Federal [for Islamabad])
- Provide your Permanent District (The districts would appear when you insert the province)
- Provide your Permanent Tehsil (The Tehsil would appear when you insert the district)
- Provide your Martial Status (There are three options here i.e. Unmarried, married, other)
- Provide your Experience/ Skills/ Education (This is optional one could skip it if it did not have any) - It will also help if your mention the skills that are relevant to the purpose or business for which your are applying to get a loan. When a bank considers your application, having relevant skills will increase your chances of securing a loan.
- Provide your Current Occupational Status (You have three options here i.e. Employed, Self Employed and Unemployed)
- Chose your Business (What business you want to start e.g. mechanic, auto parts, poultry etc) - Explain your business clearly, the bank may also ask you at a later stage about the details of your business.
- Inform about your Purpose for loan - You have two options here i.e. 1) New Business 2) Expansion of Existing Business - If you are choosing new business, be sure what your business plan is and how do you intend to make money with your business. If you are choosing expansion of old business, be sure where exactly will you spend this money. The bank may ask these details later.
- Type of loan - You have two options here i.e. 1) Working Capital Loan (A loan that is taken to finance a company's everyday operations) 2) Term Loan (a loan from a bank for a specific amount that has a specified repayment schedule and either a fixed or floating interest rate). Itr is really important to know the type of loan you are applying for.
- Insert the Loan Amount Requested (your loan amount can only range from Rs100000 to Rs5000000) - This should not be a random amount. Make sure you have calculated exactly how much money you need because the bank may ask you to justify this amount. Calculate your needs and investments required to expand or start your business, be sure to check the market prices for any machinery, equipment, rents etc to know exactly what the prices are so you can ask accordingly.
- Term of Loan (in years) (You can only apply for 1 or 2 years) - Calculate how long will it take you to start earning profits so you can return the loan on time.
After you have filled the form, click on the proceed to step 2 and an Affidavit would appear, which would have some 10 points i.e.
- Through this form I apply for PM's Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES!) And assure that I will provide all necessary documentation and information about this loan to the bank in a timely manner. I acknowledge. I do not borrow from any other bank for PM's Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES!).
- I solely acknowledge that all information contained in this application form and all associated documents are correct and that I do not keep any important information confidential.
- I solemnly affirm that I am not an employee of this bank myself, nor of any employee of this bank, including my spouse, father / mother, son / daughter, brother / sister, son / daughter-in-law, or the mother-in-law has a relationship.
- I acknowledge that approval of the loan application and the determination of the loan amount are solely the privilege of the Bank Name. I will adhere to and respect every decision made about it.
- I will be fully compliant with all the rules and regulations of SBP and (Bank Name) and pay the processing fee of Rs. 100 / - for non-repayment of loan which is non-refundable.
- I authorize Bank Name to de-debit at regular times or when deemed appropriate, to my designated account or to any of my other accounts without prior notice to me to repay the debt due.
- I authorize Bank Name to verify the personal, financial and other related matters of my, my guarantees and references provided in connection with this loan application and to verify the accuracy of my own or external persons and / Investigate through entities and contact me, my guarantors and my referrals to the residential and business addresses in this regard.
- I authorize the Bank and any third party or entity to exchange and verify the information required to obtain this loan.
- I affirmatively acknowledge that if the Government withdraws the discount given in the Pakistan markup at any time during the loan period, for any reason, I will be obliged to pay according to the new rate markup designated by the Bank Name.
- I orally acknowledge that I know that if the information and / or documents I provide are guaranteed information, data, financial status and / or documents are false or doubtful or inadequate, the bank will refuse my loan application.
After reading the above mentioned terms and conditions, you can submit your form.
It is pertinent to inform that the completed and submitted applications shall be processed within 30 working days.
This programme has been developed in collaboration with 3 main departments, namely Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) which will look after the asset transfer program and the interest free loan program and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) along with 3 major banks (National Bank of Pakistan, Bank of Punjab and Bank of Khyber) and Small and Medium Enterprise Authority (SMEDA), which will collaborate together to provide subsidized loan to the youth, along with giving them the basic aptitude to run a successful business.
