National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned managing director (MD) of Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) and its board members in illegal appointment at executive management level in the OGDCL case.
According to a NAB official, the anti-graft body has summoned MD OGDCL Dr Naseem Akhter and its members Akbar Ayub Khan and Shoaib Baig on Wednesday (today).
As per the summons issued by the bureau, NAB has asked Akhtar, Khan and Baig to appear before it on November 6. It says that the bureau is conducting investigation on the allegation of illegal appointment at executive management level under the provision of NAO 1999.
Earlier, OGDCL members Sadia Khan and Saud Saqlan Khawaja appeared before the NAB on Tuesday.
