On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,340. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.517 billion and the numbers of lots traded 7,309.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.731 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS PKR 371.271 million, WTI Crude Oil PKR 355.067 million, Silver PKR 302.356 million, NSDQ100 PKR 203.555 million, Platinum PKR 175.883 million, Palladium PKR 136.024 million, Natural Gas PKR 118.047 million, DJ PKR 93.996 million, Copper PKR 18.827 million, SP500 PKR 7.668 million and Brent Crude Oil PKR 3.801 million.
In agriculture commodities 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.485 million were traded.
