Australia clinch T20I series against Pakistan

• Aussies chased 107-run target in 11.5 overs.
• Home side win the three-match series 2-0.

Australia have comprehensively defeated Pakistan in the second T20I by 10 wickets to clinch three-match series 2-0 on Friday at Perth.

The world number one side was out classed by the home side after they were asked to bat first in the series decider. The visitors lost half of their side with just 69 runs on the board courtesy of Mitchell Starc and Saen Abbott who bagged two wickets each.

Iftikhar Ahmed, who scored 45, showed some resistance against the Australian bowling attack but lost his wicket to Kane Richardson, who picked three wickets in the game for the home side.

The men in green were restricted to 106 for eight in their 20 overs.

Chasing the modest target, openers Aaron Finch and David Warner went off to a flyer. Pakistan bowlers had no answer to Australian openers’ onslaught. Skipper Finch scored an unbeaten 52 runs knock while Warner smashed 48 not out.

The Aussies chased down the target in 11.5 overs with 10 wickets in hand.
