On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,268. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.068 billion and the numbers of lots traded 7,620.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.876 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 472.246 million, Palladium PKR 470.970 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 382.569 million, Silver PKR 208.825 million, NSDQ100 PKR 204.681 million, Platinum PKR 180.010 million, Natural Gas PKR 137.515 million, DJ PKR 81.468 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 36.027 million, Copper PKR 9.534 million and SP500 PKR 8.624 million. In agriculture commodities 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 4.493 million were traded.
