Former Sindh Governor and PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair Wednesday rejected the Cabinet-Sub-committee's decision regarding submission of indemnity bond prior to Nawaz Sharif's travel abroad for medical treatment, said the government is doing politics on the issue of Nawaz's treatment abroad.
In his reaction, Zubair said the three-time former PM Nawaz Sharif is facing critical health condition and doing politics on this issue is regrettable. He also criticized Law Minister Farogh Naseem for his role in departure of the former President Pervez Musharraf.
He was of the view that necessary guarantees had already been submitted to the court with regard to Nawaz's bail.
Sources claimed that the PML-N has already made it clear to the government that no member of Sharif family would submit any indemnity bond to the government for Nawaz's departure for London for his treatment. The sources also claimed Shahbaz Sharif met Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra and the former premier said the conditions are illegal and can't be met in the presence of court guarantees already submitted to it (court) with regard to his bail.
