On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,270.
The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.619 billion and the numbers of lots traded 6,971.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.197 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 694.704 million, Silver PKR 328.084 million, NSDQ100 PKR 297.648 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 295.206 million, Platinum PKR 287.577 million, Palladium PKR 235.242 million, DJ PKR 184.916 million, Natural Gas PKR 69.506 million, SP500 PKR 14.394 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 10.320 million and Copper PKR 4.515 million.
In agriculture commodities 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.003 million were traded.
