Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mineral department and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) Sharingle Thursday signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) for promoting research in mineral sectors.
The agreement was signed by Secretary Minerals Nazar Ali Shah and VC SBBU Sharingle Dr Rehman Ali. Under the accord, teachers and students of the varsity would be facilitated to carry out research in mineral sector.
Speaking on the occasion KP Minister Dr Amjad Ali said the government was doing efforts to abridge gap between the government departments and universities so that the teachers and students could be facilitated in carrying out research work.
He said the mineral department would invite the varsity teachers and students to conduct research in different sectors and would extend facility of minerals' testing on subsidized rate.
