Azadi March, Sharif’s ECL removal to be discussed in PTI’s core committee meeting today
- PM will chair the meeting in the evening at the PM house.
- Political and economic situation of the country will also be discussed.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has called a meeting of the core members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday, which will be held at the PM Office.
The meeting, presided by the PM, will be held at 5pm. Important decisions are expected to be taken in the meeting today. Chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab Mahmood Khan and Usman Buzdar will take part in the core committee meeting. Governors of KP, Sindh and Punjab will also attend the meeting, local media reported.
The PTI core committee will discuss the political and economic situation of the country. The meeting will also hold discussions over Nawaz Sharif’s health and the matter of removing his name from the Exit Control List. Discussion on the aftermath of the Azadi March dharna by the JUI-F is also an agenda on today's meeting.
