Pakistan star batsman Baba Azam is hopeful to give tough time to Australia when the Men in Green face the Aussies in the first Test starting from November 21.
The right-hander expressed these views in a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after the conclusion of day one of 2nd practice game against Cricket Australia XI at Peth.
“We are in good form,” said Babar. “Both [three-day and two-day] practice games helped us to adjust in the conditions.”
“Fans would get to see good competition. Our batting is performing as well as our bowling. Youngsters are in good knick they bowled well in last game,” said the World number one T20I batsman.
Babar, who hit a classy ton in the three-day warm-up against Australia XI earlier this week, scored 63 off just 66 deliveries today against a Cricket Australia XI.

The Lahore native sharing his thoughts on the playing conditions said that the batsman needs to make adjustments and they ‘are not anything especially difficult’.
“There is just a bit more bounce and pace here so it requires a wee bit of adjustment, but the more you practice and play here, the more you get used to it,” he said.
Commenting on his own goals for the series, Babar said that he would like to contribute for the team as much as he can and capitalise his current form.
“My goal always is to perform in every single match. The way my form is right now, I want to continue that and carry it into Test matches,” said Babar, who leads Pakistan in shortest format of the game.
