Sindh Police on Friday registered an FIR against JUI-F leaders for blocking the Hub River Road. The FIR was registered at Mouchko Police Station on behalf of the State. JUI-F leaders including its Provincial General Secretary Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, Maulana Umar Sadiq, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, Maulana Ehsaanullah, Maulana Noor-ul-Haq, Qari Sheeraz and others were nominated, Station House Officer (SHO) Mouchko Muhammad Waseem informed. The FIR was registered under Sections 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting with a deadly weapon), 149 (unlawful assembly), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
