Finance Division stated on Friday that net Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reached $650 million in first four months of the fiscal year, reflecting an increase of
238% compared to the same period of the last year, while total investment has crossed $ 1.1 billion.
In a tweet spokesperson of Finance Division stated that after a strong rally in stock market, there are more signs of increasing investor's confidence as well as the government's measures are taking effect. He said that net FDI reached $650 million in first four months of the fiscal year, showing an increase of 238% compared to the same period of last year when the FDI remained $191.9 million, while total investment in the country remained over $1.1 billion.
