NCR CET College stunned St Paul's School by a well deserving six-wicket victory in the final match of Naya Nazimabad Sports Gala Inter School/College T-10 Cricket Tournament 2019 which concluded successfully at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground in Karachi on Tuesday.
Batting first after skipper, Mirza Saad Baig had won the toss, the St Paul's School collected 54-6 with Shahsawr was the top scorer. Faaiz Owais took one wicket for 14 runs while the three batsmen were the run outs due to excellent fielding of the NCR CET fielders.
NCR CET College reached their target of 58 in 8.2 overs for the loss of four wickets with skipper Sharaz Siddiqui and Hafiz Muhammad Fawad Ansari made useful contributions.
Syed Muhammad Talha the President of Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana was the honorable chief guest, who witnessed the final encounter between the two teams and also gave away Man of the Match award to skipper of champion's team Sharaz Siqqiqui.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Manger Operation UK Islamic Mission Talha Munwar, Muhammad Raheel (Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana), Akif Khan {S&M NN), Manager Sports Naya Nazimabad Khalid Yaseen, Nirza Adnan Baig, Sir Philips, Event Manager Shahid Nawab and others.
However the grand price distribution ceremony of Naya Nazimabad Sport Gala 2019 Session-1 will be held on 16th November 2019 after the final of football tournament at Naya Nazimabad Football Ground.
