The Punjab Assembly on Wednesday passed The Punjab Water Bill 2019, The Punjab Seized and Freezed Facilities (Hospitals and Dispensaries) Bill 2019, The Punjab Regularisation of Services (Amendment) Bill 2019, The Provincial Employees Social Security (Amendment) Bill 2019, The Punjab Khal Panchayat Bill 2019, The Punjab Workers Welfare Fund Bill 2019, The Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority (Amendment) Bill 2019, The Punjab Minimum Wages Bill 2019 and The Rawalpindi Women University Rawalpindi Bill 2019 taking advantage of the boycott by the opposition.

The government also laid The Punjab Local Government (Second Amendment) Ordinance 2019 and The Annual Report/Post Elections Review -2018 was also laid in the House.

Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that political tension should not be increased to the extent that our future generations will suffer. He also said that we should not do politics on illness.

Hamza Shahbaz thanked speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi, Grand Democratic Alliance and all opposition parties for playing their role in sending former prime minister Nawaz Sharif abroad for sending him abroad for treatment.

Law minister Raja Basharat said that that government is aware of its responsibilities. He also said that people sitting on both sides of the House should think that why we should not focus on improving the health facilities of our province.

He further said the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif showed satisfaction on the facilities provided to him in government hospitals.

Speaker Punjab Assembly directed the Law minister Raja Basharat to sit with PML (N) MPA Khawja Salman Rafique to solve the issue of increasing telephone booths in jails. He also directed the law minister to sit with the protesting employees of Punjab Land Record Authority who is protesting outside the Punjab Assembly for more than ten days.
