Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said on Wednesday that the NAB chairman is talking of accountability of government because institutions are independent.
"We support across the board accountability," he said while talking to media after addressing a function of information technology here at Governor House.
MPA Nazir Ahmed Chohan, Director NIAIS Dr. Imran, Dr Yasir Ayaz, Dr Wajahat Qazi, Prof Ejaz Qureshi and others were also present on this occasion.
The Governor said that there is industrial revolution in Pakistan and youth must become part of this process.
"I am happy that the PTI government is taking along the farmers and businessmen that is why Pakistan's economy is getting strong day by day," he said.
"Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar is working actively and we both have complete confidence of Prime Minister."
He said all the allies including Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi are very much with the government. As per business plan, Governor House will bear its expenditures by holding commercial activities at the house and through other resources. The court has permitted Nawaz Sharif to go abroad and it is hoped that he will come back to Pakistan after his recovery, he said.
Ch Sarwar said that Imran Khan has struggled against corruption, injustice and other social disparities for 22 years which is part of country's history and people have also supported him actively. And as far as Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is concerned, he is presiding over meetings regarding price-hike and other public issues and making all out efforts to resolve problems of the province, he said.
