Ministry of Energy (Power Division) Sardar Mohazzam joins NCCEA as MD
Dr Sardar Mohazzam has joined as the Managing Director, National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, Ministry of Energy (Power Division).
He was a Fulbright Scholar for PhD in Energy and Environment Policy and AusAID-cum-Carnegie Mellon Scholar for Master in Public Policy. He is also alumni of Quaid-e-Azam University.
Dr Mohazzam has worked with the public, private and international development sectors. He has served as Faculty Member at National Defense University as well as Adjunct Professor at LUMS. His team was the winner of the MIT Climate CoLab contest for 2014.
He also led the Energy-Water nexus category of MIT Climate CoLab, USA.
Dr Mohazzam has provided advisory support and consultancies to ADB, UNDP, the World Bank, JICA, UNFCCC as well as Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning Development and Reforms, Ministry of Climate Change, Ministry of Water Resources, and provincial government departments.
His diversified experience and expertise are worthwhile to embark upon the newly established Authority.-PR
