The members of Artificial Intelligence Club organised their flagship event, AI Festival 2.0, around computer technology. The Artificial Intelligence Club is a student's organisation in NED University of Engineering and Technology that is based around the idea of promoting AI technology amongst the youth and the masses.

This is not the first time they organised something like this either. They had the first iteration of this event last year that was an absolute critical success. So, they had come together again this year to make its second iteration even better.

For any tech geek out there that was interested in the latest happenings in the world of computer technologies, this was a must-see event as it showcased technologies like AI, IoT, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Machine Learning and more. Not only that but they had two absolute jam-packed days full of constant action. They had Speaking Sessions from top industry professionals, Project Exhibitions of all kinds of computer projects, Competitions, Workshops on all advertised technologies and so much more.

Additionally, they had an exclusive Si-Five hackathon that would see the participants create new and interesting projects on Hi-Five kits and compete for cash prizes of up to Rs30,000 in project exhibition competition sponsored by Afiniti. Project exhibitors compete for cash prizes of up to Rs15,000. This was also very fitting for Artificial Intelligence Club as they saw to the first ever launch of these Hi-Five kits in Pakistan not too long ago.

The second day of the festival consisted of four workshops on four different technologies, namely, Data Science, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Internet of Things (IoT) and a competition of SiFive based Hifive kitboards. Cash prizes of up to Rs30,000 were presented to the winners of the competition.

They have also partnered up with the like Afiniti, SiFive, Gaditek, Mojo Solutions, National Centre of Artificial Intelligence, Mindstorm Engineering and Futurealiti. With backing like this and a team as enthusiastic as Artificial Intelligence Club, the event is gearing itself up to be one of the best technological events in recent memory.

Dr Muhammad Khurram, Head of Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (RCAI) said, "The speaking sessions were very informative. The speakers talked about how Artificial Intelligence is gradually transforming the world and how it is bringing a change in Pakistan. A VR based project has also been shown related to Self-driving assessment and fire extinguisher. Overall it was an amazing experience."
