As JUI-F begins its Plan-C of ongoing Azadi March, the Joint Opposition Sindh - an alliance of nine opposition parties on Friday announced to hold protest demonstration outside the provincial Election Commission (ECP) office against the federal government on November 26.

The announcement came from the convener of newly formed Rehber Committee Sindh and Provincial Secretary General Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro at a press conference along with the provincial leaders of the opposition parties at Karachi Press Club (KPC).

He said the Joint Opposition Sindh held all parties conference the other day, and has evolved a future course of action to send home the PTI-led Federal Government which what he alleged has come into power through poll rigging with undue support of the 'selectors'.

JOP will also hold 'Azadi March Conference, Bayad-e-Shaheed-e-Islam' in Sukkur on November 28. The provincial and central leaderships of all opposition parties would address the conference.

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Waqar Mehdi, Awami National Party leader Senator Shahi Syed, Pakistan Muslim League-N's Ali Akbar Gujar, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Nazim Jan and others also spoke on this occasion.

The opposition leaders announced to hold protest demonstration in six divisions of Sindh against the federal government. They said the ruling PTI had promised to generate 10 million jobs and five million low cost homes. However, during the last more than one year time around one million people became jobless and several homes were demolished.

They said the prices of essential commodities have attained unprecedented heights, while the government, instead of controlling inflation to ease the financial woes of the poor, was busy in harassing its political opponents under the garb of accountability.
