Construction of four new lines vital for relief in winter: SSGC
SSGC being a prudent gas utility company is doing its best to facilitate natural gas customers in its franchise areas of Sindh and Balochistan, especially during the winter season.
In this regard, the Company is striving to bring in new discoveries of natural gas into its system by laying four new pipelines of 8" dia. X 28-km line, 30" dia. X 125-km line, 30" dia. X 17-km and 12" dia. X 46-km line dimensions in Sindh.
Work on these pipelines is, however, affected due to Right-of-Way (RoW) issues.
SSGC is working with the Government of Sindh to resolve issues related to RoW and land acquisition. The Company is expecting that with the cooperation of the Sindh Government, land issues will be resolved soon and natural gas customers will not have to suffer curtailment during the forthcoming winter. If, however, the RoW issues are not resolved in a timely manner, customers in Sindh and Balochistan may not be able to get uninterrupted service during the winter season.-PR
