Punjab Assembly passes various bills with majority
The Punjab Assembly on Wednesday passed The Punjab Sentencing Bill 2019 with majority.
The Reports on the Accounts of Expenditure of Government of the Punjab, for the Audit Year 2018-19 (Vol-I and Vol-II), Audit Report on the Accounts of Revenue Receipts of Government of the Punjab for the Audit Year 2018-19, Audit Report on the Accounts of District Education Authorities of 19 districts of Punjab (North) for the Audit Year 2018-19, Audit Report on the Accounts of District Health Authorities of 19 Districts of Punjab (North) for the Audit Year 2018-19, Audit Report on the Accounts of Metropolitan Corporation Lahore and 6 Municipal Corporations of Punjab (North) for the Audit Year 2018-19, Audit Report on the Accounts of 12 District Councils of Punjab (North) for the Audit Year 2018-19, Project Audit Report on the Accounts of Construction of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi, Health Department, Government of the Punjab for the Year 2016-17, Project Audit Report on Construction of Commercial Cum Car Parking Plaza, Moon Market, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, HUD & PHE Department, Government of the Punjab for the Year 2016-17.
Appropriation Accounts of the Government of the Punjab, Forest Department for the Year 2017-18 and Audit Report on the Accounts of Public Sector Enterprises, Government of the Punjab, for the Audit Year 2018-19 were laid in the House.
The answers of the questions relating to schools education department were given by minister Schools Education Dr Muraad Raas.
Speaking on the point of order PPP parliamentary leader Syed Hassan Murtaza said that crushing season has not started due to which farmers are facing difficulties. He also said that government has not announced any support price for sugar cane.
