Wah University holds MDSRIC
University of Wah (UW) hosted its 5th Multi-Disciplinary Student Research International Conference (MDSRIC) from 26-27 November, 2019 sponsored by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The key areas of the conference included Basic Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Social Sciences & Humanities.
The keynote speakers included Prof Dr Qaiser Mushtaq, former Vice Chancellor, Islamia University, Bahawalpur; Prof Dr Syed Tahir Hijazi, Vice Chancellor, Muslim Youth University, Islamabad; Prof Dr Hong Tianhua, Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China; Prof Dr Saif-ur-Rehman, Muslim Youth University, Islamabad and Prof Dr Muhammad Almas Anjum, Dean, Computer Science, University of Wah, Wah Cantt.
During the two days of the conference, 67 papers were presented authored by nearly 70 researchers coming from across the country. In his opening remarks, Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ahmad, Director, ORIC highlighted the significance of academic conferences and shed light on how MDSRIC has acted as a platform where academicians and researchers from renowned universities can meet; exchange ideas on their research and can enlighten the participants about future developments in their disciplines. The conference received a positive feedback from researchers and attendees who appreciated UW and ORIC for organizing an informative and insightful event.-PR
