Enlarged lymph nodes detected in Nawaz's right axilla: Dr Adnan
Dr Adnan, personal physician of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo said that Nawaz Sharif's positron emission tomography (PET) scan showed lymph nodes. Talking to media in London on Monday, he said the former prime minister's right axillary lymph nods are being examined and the cause lymph nodes would be found out after more medical tests. Sharif's personal physician said PML-N supremo's platelets are somewhat normal which are being taken at certain levels through medicine. Dr Adnan went on to say that the further investigation and regular follow-up of Nawaz Sharif's disease is under way which includes blood tests. "The former PM's right axillary lymph nodes have enlarged," he added. "The PML-N supremo had a heart attack in Lahore due to which a cardiac team is also examining him," Dr Adnan said, adding he would also undergo Angiogram and Angioplasty, while the services of vascular surgeon has also been hired to treat his blood vessel arteries sending blood to his brain.
