Kartik Aaryan becomes first Indian actor to get his own Instagram filter

Actor Kartik Aaryan has become the next big thing in Bollywood with back-to-back hit films. He has achieved another milestone in his career as the actor has been given his personalized Instagram filter in India.

Kartik became the first Indian actor get his own filter on popular photo-sharing application Instagram. The filter has the song ‘Akhiyon Se Goli Maare’ from his upcoming film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ playing in the background while heart-shaped sunglasses appear with his character name [Chintu Tyagi] written on them along with his moustache.

As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Instagram approached Kartik with the idea to have his own filter. Excited Kartik wanted nothing but the best. The team worked on it for more than a month and finally he zeroed in on the one which hit the social media.

Talking about the same, Kartik said, “I’m addicted to Instagram. As everyone knows, I’m always active on this platform because it helps me to connect with my fans. I met the young and brilliant creative team of Instagram, we discussed several ideas and finally zeroed on this. It feels really special to have my own filter on Instagram plus be the first one to do it here as well.”

On work front, Kartik has been working on multiple projects including ‘Dostana 2’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Aaj Kal’.
