HANOI: Vietnam's State Treasury has raised 7 trillion dong ($335.73 million) from a government bond auction on Thursday, with yields lower than at the previous auction, the Hanoi Stock Exchange said.
The treasury sold 1 trillion dong worth of two-year bonds at a yield of 10.35 percent, the exchange said in a statement issued late on Thursday.
It also raised 3 trillion dong via three-year bonds at a yield of 10.4 percent, and another 3 trillion dong worth of five-year bonds at 10.48 percent, the statement said.
In the last auction on April 16, the treasury raised 5.98 trillion dong worth of government bonds at yields of between 10.8 percent and 11.06 percent.
