SCCI chief to contest for FPCCI's top slot

The President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Muhammad Ashraf Malik has said that Dr. Nouman Idris Butt is fit for representing the Export Based Industry of Sialkot in the most enlightened manner and his nomination would serve the purpose of properly highlighting the issues of trade and industry in the Government Corridors. Dr. Nouman Butt is suitable candidate for FPCCI elections 2020 he said.

He disclosed that it would be a historic moment for the city of Sialkot as for the first time, a member of Sialkot Chamber would hold the prestigious office of Federation's President adding that he had full faith that Dr. Nouman Idris Butt would represent the Export Based Industry of Sialkot in the most enlightened manner and his nomination would serve the purpose of properly highlighting the issues of trade and industry in the Government Corridors.

Talking to journalists on Friday here he further added that after the victory, a true voice of SMEs of Pakistan would hold the Chair and would serve to devise strategies tailor made for Exports to promote National Economy as per the vision of the Federal Government of Pakistan.

The SCCI President was expressed these views while addressing the Members of patents in Sports Goods Sector. Such feats in the world of Sports has allowed Dr. Nouman to become the life time Director and Board Member of World's Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), which is the global authoritative body for the sports industry officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the industry's representative within the Olympic Family.

Dr. Nouman has also enjoyed several key positions which have allowed him to achieve a celebrity status within the business community of Pakistan. A medical doctor by profession and a successful entrepreneur by SIALKOT, the gentleman has achieved so much in his endeavors of life. He served the Industry of Sialkot as the President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry and is the prodigy behind the projects like Sialkot Business and Commerce Center, Sports Industries Development Center, Establishment of Internationally Accredited Testing Lab of Sialkot, Setting up of Women Resource Center at Sialkot Chamber among many others. He is also known for his relentless services to the Industry in the initiative to eliminate the Child Labor Elimination from Soccer Ball Industry of Sialkot through projects like Child Social Development Organization and International Monitoring Association for Child Labor. Dr. Nouman Idris Butt has also been nominated by the United Business Group (UBG) as their presidential candidate for the FPCCI's elections 2020.
