Imran Khan to receive Bahrain’s highest civil award
- The PM will participate in Bahrain's national day celebrations.
- The premier will also visit Malaysia and Switzerland.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will receive Bahrains highest civil award during his upcoming trip to the country.
The premier is set to visit Bahrian on December 15 as his first stop during a three-country tour this month. Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis, Syed Zulifkar Bukhari said that the premier will be awarded the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance. Indian PM Narendra Modi was also conferred the same award on August 25.
The premier would also meet his counterpart Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the visit, Arab News reported. The premier will participate in Bahrain's national day celebrations.
The PM will also visit Switzerland and Malaysia. In Geneva, he is expected to address a conference on refugees. While in Malaysia, he will attend the first Kuala Lumpur Summit to discuss the ummah's problems.
