International Human Rights Day today

The Punjab Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department has formally kicked off two-day celebration on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, which will be marked today (December 10).

The Punjab Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department has formally kicked off two-day celebration on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, which will be marked today (December 10).

In this connection, a painting competition was held here on Monday. The youth from various institutions portrayed the brutality of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir in their pictures. On the occasion, Punjab Human Rights Secretary Tariq Mehmood and Alhamara Director Mohammad Yousuf attended the competition. The Secretary appreciated the process of creating images on the subject of Kashmir while encouraged the youth to promote peace through education and art.
