Qureshi off to Saudi Arabia
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi left Turkey for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to hold talks with Saudi leadership on issues of mutual interest and regional situation, Foreign Office said. In a one day short visit to the Kingdom, the foreign minister will meet his Saudi counterpart and key important leaders of the Kingdom.
During the meetings, the foreign minister will exchange views with Saudi leadership on bilateral relations, situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and regional situation.
The Foreign Office further said that the visit is part of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi leadership' policy of promoting peace and stability and strengthening relations with friendly countries in the region. Qureshi was in Istanbul for attending the 8th Ministerial meeting of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process.
