Pakistan becomes secured country for investment: Sarwar
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Saturday said that Pakistan has become secured country for investment and investors from different parts of the world are showing interest for making investment.
Talking to media, here at Expo Centre, the Governor said that companies from Dubai, Turkey and other countries were participating in different exhibitions and participation of these companies was a proof that other countries were showing trust on the facilities being provided to the investors in Pakistan.
Talking about clash between the lawyers and doctors, the Governor said the incident had not only negatively impacted both but also not good omen for the country as well. "Both doctors and lawyers were from respectful professions and clash between them does not make any sense," he said, adding: "Those involved in this incident would not be spared at all regardless of their affiliation with any party or family." He said that protection of hospitals and life and property of the people would be ensured.
When asked about the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Governor said: "With the grace of Allah Almighty good news would come in this regard."
Later, addressing a "Khair Kaseer Youth Conference" organized by Al-Khidmat Foundation at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, the Governor said that the youngsters of Pakistan were not less than anybody in terms of intelligence and talent.
He said that the bright future of any nation could be judged from the proportion of its youth adding that Pakistan is the 5th largest country having a large number of youngsters.
Later, during a meeting with a delegation of students from Balochistan here at Governor's House, Chaudhry Sarwar said, "I assure you that Punjab is standing with Balochistan as a big brother."
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was working on various projects which were aimed at progress and prosperity of the Balochistan. He said the incumbent government was providing such platforms to the youngsters of Balochistan under which they would get an opportunity to highlight their hidden capabilities.
