Bajwa, Zayed discuss regional security, other issues: ISPR

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and discussed matters of mutual interests.

In a tweet, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Gen Asif Ghafoor said Saturday that regional security and matters of mutual interest were also discussed in the meeting. "COAS arrived Abu Dhabi, UAE. Called on His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces (and) Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Regional security environment and matters of mutual interests discussed," read the tweet.

According to the UAE embassy in Pakistan's official Twitter account, Army Chief Gen Bajwa was received by the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

In the meeting between the Army Chief and the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
