Anti-polio drive starts in Tharparkar

Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem visited the refugee houses which are temporary settled near Mithi City to review the national campaign of anti-polio near entrance of Mithi and sought information from the health staff. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar directed the policemen of the check post to stop the vehicles coming from adjoining areas in the district so that Polio drops could be administered to every child up to five years of age.

During the visit the Deputy Commissioner himself administered polio drops to the Children He said in order to save our future generation from disability, we all have to work together to eradicate polio. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner -I Mukhtiar Ali Abro and health officers were also accompanied them.
