COAS visits SSG Headquarters

• Army chief appreciated the work and efforts of the special group commandos.
• SSG is our pride with mayriad contributions towards defence of country through its valiant officers and soldiers since creation of Pakistan: Bajwa.

(Karachi) Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the (Special Service Group) SSG Headquarters on Wednesday, a statement issued by DG ISPR stated.

During his visit, the COAS appreciated the work and efforts of the special group commandos.

Bajwa said that the brave SSG commandos laid numerous sacrifices for the country. He added, “SSG commandos are our pride.”

He maintained, “We have brought stability by failing all inimical forces operating against Pakistan. We shall never let it go at any cost.”

Earlier, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Pakistan Air Force Base Mushaf in Sargodha.

The army chief was received by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

During his visit, the army chief was taken to one of the squadrons where he was flown in an F-16. The air chief flew in another F-16 and both aircraft proceeded to maneuver for a combat action simulation mission.
