Situation may worsen, says Rashid

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that Special Court's decision regarding former President General Pervez Musharraf (retd) would widen the gap among institutions and the situation may get worse and worse in coming days.

Addressing a function in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rashid said those who hoisted the flag of victory on Siachen were held as traitors but those who looted this country are not being questioned.

He said he never witnessed such a strong reaction from the armed forces that he observed on Tuesday to the verdict. He stated that Kashmiris' struggle wants "blood" and the slogan 'Kashmir would become Pakistan' could not transform into a reality without paying the ultimate price with our blood.

He said he is closely watching the Kashmiris' struggle, adding the Kashmiri people are intelligent and have latest information about the events taking place in the world.
