CBOT soyabean futures flat

Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures finished near unchanged on Wednesday.

The market consolidated after the most-active contract reached rose on Tuesday to its highest price on a continuous basis since Nov. 8, analysts said.

Chinese importers bought at least two cargoes of US soyabeans after receiving another round of tariff-free quota for US shipments on Tuesday, traders in both countries said.

The sales are the first since Washington announced an interim trade deal with Beijing last week. They may also be China's last large US purchases before newly harvested soyabeans from top supplier Brazil begin hitting the market next month, traders said.
