The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secretary-general Ahsan Iqbal to appear before the anti-graft body today (Monday) in the alleged corruption in multi-billion Sports City Project in Norowal.
NAB has already investigated the former interior minister and on Monday, the sources that Iqbal will be grilled to explain as to why Rs 4 billion were spent on the project in Norowal.
A notice was issued to Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday wherein the former interior minister has been directed to appear before NAB interrogation team in the bureau's headquarters in Rawalpindi. The PML-N leader has been asked to bring along the record of sports city.
