CNG stations to remain shut as pressure drops across Sindh
- Due to drop in pressure in Gas System, domestic and commercial consumers will face inconvenience in fulfilling their gas related needs, stated SSGC.

The CNG stations will remain close across Sindh on Monday again, after low pressure in the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system pushed the suspension to yet another day.
“Due to drop in pressure in SSGC Gas System, domestic and commercial consumers will face inconvenience in fulfilling their gas related needs,” stated SSGC spokesperson. In order to cater to the needs of domestic customers, gas supply to CNG stations will remain suspended from 8:00 am on December 2 till 8:00 am on December 24.
The company further said that SSGC's first priority remains its domestic customers and as per the government's gas load management plan, “the Company will channel all resources towards ensuring gas supply to its domestic customers.”
The closure of the CNG stations had manifold the plight of the commuters using public transport. Earlier, the company said that after the improvement in the system's line pack, all CNG stations across the Sindh have been opened from Saturday 11:00 pm and they will open till the 8:00 am on Monday.
As per the schedule the gas supply to CNG stations generally close on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, however, in the current wee the schedule disrupted and its closure period extended by 90 hours that caused the severe problems for the people who used public transport.
