Two more chambers of commerce and industries extended support to Businessmen Panel (BMP) candidates in the upcoming annual elections of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) scheduled on 27th.
The new supporting chambers of the BMP are included Dir Lower Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Islamabad Small Chamber of Trade and Industries.
In this connection, the first meeting was held in Dir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Timergara. The meeting was attended by the general secretary BMP, Haji Ghulam Ali, president, Dir Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Hayat, General Body (GB) member Khalid Iqbal and executive committee members Imran, Obaid-ur-Rehman, Waqar Khan and others. On this occasion, President, Dir Chamber of Commerce and GB member Khalid Iqbal announced complete support for the BMP candidate for the president of FPCCI, Mian Anjum Nisar and Vice President, Qaiser Khan Daudzai and announced joining the forum.
Speaking on the occasion, general secretary BMP, Haji Ghulam Ali said that the forum has fielded experienced and renowned businessmen as candidates for the FPCCI polls. He said that the panel flouted by the BMP is fully aware of the problems of the business community. He said that United Business Group (UBG) had miserably failed in the resolution of the problems of the business community saying the success of the BMP is written on the wall in the FPCCI polls.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Industries has announced support for Businessman Panel (BMP) presidential candidate, Mian Anjum Nisar and his panel in the annual elections of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, said a press release issued here on Monday. This was announced after an important meeting of the Islamabad Small Chamber with President, Sajjad Sarwar and chairman Kamran Abbas in the chair. The meeting was also attended by the BMP candidate for the Presidentship of the FPCCI, Mian Anjum Nisar, general secretary Haji Ghulam Ali, Chaudhry Zahid Hussain, member Executive Committee (EC) FPCCI Saqib Taj Abbas, General Body (GB) Member, Chaudhry Saeed, Senior Vice President, Tahir Arain, Vice President, Syed Mahtab Hussain, Malik Zahir, Malik Shakeel, Imran Shabir, Sardar Ahsan Abubakar, Awais Sethi and others. The meeting unanimously decided to support the BMP-backed panel in the FPCCI polls.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Anjum Nisar and Haji Ghulam Ali thanked Islamabad Small Chamber for their support and said that the business community is unanimous to support Mian Anjum Nisar and his panel in the upcoming FPCCI polls.
