Expressing happiness over successful holding of Test Series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, former test cricketers said that this series would prove milestone for revival of international cricket in the country.

Former Test Cricketer Mohsin Hasan Khan said this series had opened new doors for revival of international cricket in the country.

Expressing gratitude to the government, law enforcement agencies, Sri Lanka Cricket Board and Pakistan Cricket Board for organizing the test series, Mohsin said the series had proved that Pakistan was a safe place for cricket and other games. He urged cricket boards of the world countries to come to Pakistan and play matches.

Khan said the national cricket team had played outstanding game in Karachi test and won it with a huge margin.

This series was a real achievement of the PCB and the whole world knows topflight cricket has returned to Pakistan and the country is completely safe. The Test matches in Rawalpindi and Karachi were the turning points for Pakistan cricket, cricket analysts said.

The PCB is looking for the Bangladesh series of three Twenty20 Internationals and two Tests scheduled here in January 2020.

The PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani had said: "No one should be under any misapprehension as to where Pakistan's home Tests [against Bangladesh and other nations in future] would take place. All of Pakistan's matches, against Bangladesh will take place in Pakistan and no one should be in any doubt about this."

Former skipper Mohammad Yousuf said: "Pakistan is a sporting nation and we love cricket. Sri Lanka team tour to Pakistan for Test matches was a big achievement. I have some wonderful memories of playing cricket in Pakistan."
