Serbia's central bank bought an unspecified amount of euros on the local interbank market on Tuesday to absorb appreciation pressures on the dinar currency, dealers said.
The bank, which has so far this week purchased 85 million euros ($94.27 million), intervened as the dinar traded at 117.46 against the common currency.
Following the currency intervention, the dinar eased to a rate of 117.52.
