Removal of 0.8 million names from BISP: Minister urges CJP to take suo motu notice
Minister for Industries and Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo has urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto over the news of removal of 0.8 million names from the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
Expressing regret over the removal of 0.8 million people from the Benazir Income Support Programme, he said that eliminating the names of the deserving people was a cruel act.
Talking to media while visiting the Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum, he said that the present government should stop attacking poor people and their poor families. Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo reacted to the address of Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid and said that Shaikh Rasheed was the product of dictatorship and has grown up in the lap of the dictator.
